Simple Problem with Shift Register!

My shift register wont connect

 

The problem is shown in the image

You have to use Convert from dyanmic data type functions to covert the dymaic data to Boolean. Also, use an array of Boolean to indicate rather than one.

 

Though the VI might be running, I can not get your point/objective with this VI.

You are trying to compare two SIGNALS, not values, therefore it wont work. Change the signal to single value boolean type (express -> signal manipulation -> from DDT)

It's LabVIEW keeping you from doing strange things Smiley Wink

why would you want to or two waveforms?

 

If you try an Equals? primitive you will be able to connect.

When you have problems with broken wires or the run arrow is broken, click the broken run arrow.  It will give you a list of reasons why the run arrow is broken.  From the list you should get a good idea what the problem is if you read carefully.
