Setting up Real Time Target

I am having trouble to set up a desktop PC as a real time target. I used the Desktop PC USB Utility to check if the the desktop is compatible to become one. Unfortunately, it gave 2 errors which were the network card I used was not compatible and the hard disk setting was not right (SATA).

I've installed a new network card Intel Pro/100s Server Adapter and I have changed the hard disk setting to legacy. Both are suggested by the instruction manual. However, it is still giving the same error. Can anyone help? My desktop PC is an Intel Core 2 CPU 6700 running at 2.66GHz. The desktop's OS is Windows XP.

Many thanks.

Hi cfyeong,

When you went in to the BIOS, did you set the SATA mode to ATA, to emulate an IDE connection?
Also what is the make and model of the computer you are trying to setup?

Please can you make sure your HDD is formatted to FAT32 rather than NTFS.

Hi JamesC,

I tried that and it was not working as well.
Anyway, I have got another computer and format it with FAT32 format and it's working fine now as a RT desktop.

thanks
