Set / Reset Function

2 years ago I posted this question and thought it time for an update.  In a recent project I created a set / reset (latch / unlatch) function in logic that worked but could be more efficient as a Labview funtion.  Since several revisions of Labview have been released with more features, does anyone know if such a function has been added?
Thanks in advance,
Doug Dunlap

I have not seen any function like this in recent LabVIEW versions.  But it would not be so difficult to create using an action engine that I don't think it would be necessary for LabVIEW to create one.  In addition, there could be so many different ways you might want to latch or unlatch that a programming solution for one person might not be good for someone else.

You could implement something called an Action Engine to do so.

Or also look for a Functional Global Variable which could do the trick.
