Server Explorer 2.4.1

Hello NI Forum

I want to know if anybody using Server Explorer 2.4.1 as an OPC Client. Is it free? I am using but it is compatible with win xp only and not with win 7. Anybody know it's updated version or any other free OPC client software from NI.

Hi Varun,

there is no newer Version for the Server Explorer available, and NI have no free OPC client Software.

If you want to read some variables from a OPC Server, you can read it with Datasocket https://www.ni.com/en/shop/labview/datasocket-transfer-protocol--dstp--overview.html
