Serial comunication property node

I have work with the example of LabVIEW: Basic Serial Write and Read.vi which consist in serial comunication.
I would like to now what the IV: Property node does exactly.

I would like very pleasant if somebody could help me in this subject.

Hi Ramoncm

A property node allows you to programatically change the properties of controls or indicators within your VI. If you enter the LabView Help system using "F1" and type "property" under the Index tab you will get links to various aspects of property nodes.
