Serial VISA, Problems recieving data.

1. You need to set your termination character to be a Carriage Return (CR, 0x0D).  This is an input on the top of Configure Serial Port.

2. I agree with GerdW that just setting the Serial Settings->End Mode For Writes to "TermChar" is the simplest route to take.  This will enable VISA to append the CR for you for every write you do.

3. Some general cleaning up will help a lot.

Also, are you sure that "PV?\r" is the correct command? I don't see that one in the manual page you posted. Are there more pages describing the command set?
