My friend used to work at the lotto counter of a grocery store, and at least in ohio, some of the lotto tickets can have various "bets." The pick 3, for instance, you can bet "straight" meaning in order for 50 cents a ticket, or "straight or boxed" meaning in any order, for a dollar a ticket.
