Saving to variable

Hi,

I'm a beginner of the labview
I would like to save a current value of a variable parameter
The parameter changes all the time .. so I want to mesure it in a true
case..
and use it after a mission..

Thanks

Louis,

do you have any example on what you have already tried or at least, how it should work? I must confess that your posting is somehow... unclear to me...

Hi Louis,

If you want to take a measured value and save it for future use, one option that you have is to save the data to a file using the file I/O VI's, located in the File I/O palette.  We have several example programs that ship with LabVIEW that demonstrate their use that you can find by going to Help»Find Examples in LabVIEW.  This will bring up the Example Finder, where you can browse to the File I/O examples in the Fundamentals»File Input and Output category.  The ones you are likely to be interested in are Read from Text File and Write to Text File.

If you're looking for more detailed information about this, or if I misinterpreted your question, just post back with a more precise question and we can take a look at it!
Cheers,
