Saving a VI with a type def going into a concatenate terminal for 8.6 is unopenable in 8.6

If I try and save the below VI for LV8.6 I can't open the 8.6 VI in 8.6.

type def concat node.png

There's nothing special about the typedefed numeric. You can just take a normal numeric and "Make Type Def".

Workaround: Opening the 8.6 VI in 2012 and saving it again for 8.6 results in a VI that is now actually openable in 8.6.

I am going to try and reproduce this behavior and see if this is a possible bug with LabVIEW 2012 trying to save version 8.6 VI. Way to figure out a workaround and everything! Is there any question in particular you are needing answered at all?

No. Just giving everyone a heads up.

It is probably related to your concatenating tunnel which did not exist in LV 8.6.

What does that tunnel look like in your LV8.6 version of your VI?

The block diagram doesn't open at all. I get this error:
