I have seen examples that show one can do HTTP Post utilizing the TCP VI palette. I would like to do HTTP POST using SSL, i.e. HTTPS POST.
Link: http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/Sending-XML-data-to-server-with-method-POST/td-p/591411
I am doing the same thing as teh above link by placing the XML in the body of the POST request. The only difference is the need to do SSL and send the request to an https:// domain.
How can I implement SSL when I have a certificate file to send HTTP POST? Thank you in advance.
I know there exists HTTP Client VIs that do just that but I can't see how they are building the headers and sending the message.

As I stated above, I know there exists HTTP Client VIs that do just that but I can't see how they are building the headers and sending the message. I get an error 63 stating that the server request was denied. That shouldn't be the case and I am trying to track down where the break is taking place.
The url, uri, and body are just examples due to not being able to show the actual information. But this is what I was using and don't have any control or can't see what is being sent and how it is being sent.

Hi Dru,
Assuming you are setting up a Web service, have you taken a look at the NI Community document on setting up SSL for Web service? Did you already follow these directions? To debug your your Web service, you will need to enable debugging features. Directions to that can be found here. Another useful resource is the LabVIEW help for securing the Web server with SSL for 2009, 2010 and 2011. I wasn't sure which version you were using.
Hope this helps.
