Hi,

I would like to know if it is possible to plot multiple 3D shape on one plot. eg Cube , cone in labview. I am trying to create a scatter graph but instead of using the normal plot , i would likke to use 3D shapes.

thank you

You should be able to do so by using the property nodes to add plots to a 3D Parametric Surface. Take a look at this article for an example.

Hi Jim,

If you open LabVIEW and select the Help Menu.  Then Find Examples.  From here select the search tab and type in 3D.  Then select the result it gives "3D".  Then select solorsystem.vi on the right hnd side.

This is a great example of placing more than one object in a single 3D image.  You'll also see how to manipulate each shape with regards to another.

Good luck
