Robotic arm and LABVIEW (newbie)

Hi all,

I want to start working on controlling robotic arm using LABVIEW and matlab. I am completely new two both labview and robotics, so I was hoping if I could get some suggestions for my project. I would really appreciate if someone can tell me what robotic arm would be a good choice with LABVIEW or any robotic parts I buy would work.
Please help me out with some suggestion. I would really appreciate some help from you guys. Thank you!

Here's some help for LabVIEW: Start out by working through the tutorials at the bottom of this message (and others on the web).

To learn something about LabVIEW at no extra cost, work the online LabVIEW tutorial(s):

Can you be a little bit more specific? What kind of problems do you have?

Do you use the LabVIEW roboics modiule?

Are you just interested is moving the joints or are you trying to solve the inverse kinematic problem?

There is driver support for a large collection of robotic arms.

I would start reading here: Getting Started with NI LabVIEW Robotics
