Ring formats

I'm using a ring, with 20pt font writing inside it.

But, the height of the ring is a lot higher than necessary, due to
formatting for looks.
However, the writing inside the ring, is always aligned to the top

Is there anyway to format the ring, such that the vertical alignment would
be centered?

(In case anyone has seen my last post's, and wondering if I'm an idiot....
I've only just started using LabView, with my new company, about two months
ago, and I'm still learning!)

thank you for any help you can give

Seems a bit complicated to have results, but you can customize your ring by editing the control, and place things where you want, at least is the only way (except using one or two returns before the string) i found in LV 5.0

Hope this helps

Well... you can always resize the ring using the "Position/Size/Select" pointer.

You can see all the pointers available by selecting "Show Tool Palette" in the Window menu. Also, you can cycle all the pointers using the Tab button.
