Ring Control Property nodes color

How do I change the background color for a ring control using a property node?!?! I can change the color of the square around the text but, not the rest of the button. Any ideas?

You can't !!!
That's a curious limitation of the actual LV version, common to most 3D objects. There is a workaround : set the ring background color to invisible with the paint brush.
