Resetting Crio-9049 without Admin password

I am using Crio-9056 and I have changed the admin password & I have forgotten the Admin password. I am trying to format the Crio however I am unable to to do it without admin password. The other option is to format with USB flash stick. However, Crio-9056 does not have a usb port, instead it has  a C-type usb port. i am not sure how can i format the crio to reset the admin password.

Restore NI Linux RT Target to Factory Default Configuration

cRIO-905x has a USB host port. Just get a USB-C to USB-A adapter to insert a USB drive to it.
