Report Generation Toolkit Compatibility with Microsoft Office 2013 and LabVIEW 2011

Solved!
Go to solution

From what I have seen, you can if you have the LabVIEW Database connectivity toolkit installed on your machine:

https://www.ni.com/en/shop/labview/select-edition.html

I have also seen a method where you can import the file into MS Access and then from there send it as an array into LabVIEW.

https://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/How-can-I-read-a-dbase-file-dbf-into-an-array/td-p/299259

Hope that helps!

Jonathan,

You seem to have "hijacked" your own thread, disguising it by changing the name of the message!  And you sent the same message out three times!

I strongly recommend that you start a new message, with a new title, and explain very carefully what you are trying to do.

Do you understand that the Report Generation Toolbox is designed to (as the name suggests) Generate Reports?  It can generate an HTML, a Word, or an Excel "report", and in some cases, it can read "reports", but they generally have to be in formats that Word and/or Excel explicitly recognize (like .docx or .xlsx).
