Rename a tab

Solved!
Go to solution

This is strange.  When I add a tab control to a front panel, I can edit the tab names all I want.  I can insert tabs and rename them without issue.

But I have a tab control that I've been working with for awhile that I want to add a tab to.  When I do, now the entire tab control refuses to let me change the tab names.  Even if I copy just the control to a new VI, I still cannot change the tab names.

What am I missing here?

Doesn't seem your missing anything.  I couldn't get it to work right either.

Hi xl600?

Right click on it, advanced/tab layout then change the tab layout to anything then change it back to "text only" and it work again.

Should be a bug.

Good luck

Yep, that looks like a bug to me.  An annoying one at that!  Thanks!

Right Click >> Visible Items >> Page Labels Display. Then edit the Page Label and hide again.
