Hi,

I downloaded this LLB and was able to use it in LV 7.1 without any problems. The only thing was that the block diagram was password protected. I'm not sure why this is protected because all of our example code that we post should not be password protected at all. I'll look into this further and try to find the origin of the code and see why it has a password, or if we can unlock it and make it free source. Thanks for your patience!

I have problems to. For example the RemotePanel-ClientConnections-Get.vi gives me tho following error in LV 7.1.1

You have two or more cluster data types wired together, but the clusters have different kinds or numbers of elements.
Cluster RemotePanel.ConnToServers->(unnamed), a cluster of 8 elements,
conflicts with cluster Client Connection data->(unnamed), a cluster of 6 elements.

I am  badly  in need  of that   remotepanelAPI.llb. i   downloaded  it  and  i  tried  in  labview  7.1  , but  its  not running and  because  of the  password lock  i  was  unable  to  correct  that  error  also. if  you  could send  me  the  updated  working  code  it  will  be  helpful  to  me  for  my  project. i  need  to  know  whether  the same  code  will   run in  labview  ver 8.0  also.

please  post  the updated  code   to   origin_03@yahoo.com

Hello,

Thank you for posting to the NI Discussion Forums!  Unfortunately we will be unable to lock those VIs since they contain some proprietary code in them, however the properties and methods enabled by this example are now publicly available with LabVIEW 7.  Additionally, even if the code was to be unlocked the functions would not work in LabVIEW 7 and would need to be updated to use the new versions of LabVIEW.  I would start with checking out the new stuff available, then let us know if you have questions finding specific things.  Sorry for the trouble of all of this, and good luck!
