I need to program on and
administer a computer located on an island located off the coast of
California. Presently, I'm using LabVIEW for the programming and
Remote Administrator (rAdmin) from Sunbelt for the connection.
Unfortunately, several features don't work within LabVIEW when logged
on remotely, which seriously detracts from my abilty to do the job.
First, the right click button does not work. This is a major flaw
because it prevents me from being able to do any of those functions
within LabVIEW which require that feature. Second, drop-down
controls don't work, which can also be a mojor impediment.
Lastly, the cursor does not change when manually changing tools (which
I do ALL the time using the TAB key). This one I can work around,
the others I can't.
I was unhappy with the speed of Norton's pcAnywhere, which was why I
switched to rAdmin. I haven't taken the time to search for any
other programsa whivh afford me the same functionality.
I'm confused (normal state, no need for concern) - is LabVIEW installed on the island, or where your fingers are? (I'm assuming you aren't on the island.)
