Release VI:s under GPL?

Hi

I've written a dll containing a few functions (mainly) intended for academic use that I'd like to release under GPL. The dll is accompanied by a set of VI:s providing LabVIEW wrappers and a quite elaborate GUI. Could the VI:s also be released under GPL?

An alternative would be putting GPL on the dll and release the VI:s linking to it to the public domain. Although I would still wan't the copyright notice and license agreement visible in the GUI (i.e. in the LabVIEW program), is there a way to do that or would I accidently put teh VI:s under GPL as well?

Best regards

/Martin

How you decide to release your own software is up to you. GPL is fine.

(We'll see if someone disagrees with me)

You will also need a Labview runtime engine in order to call your dll. Then not run on your development PC. This is something the user can download from NI for free. So it is not a big issue. But it should be documented

Besides which, my opinion is that Express VIs Carthage must be destroyed deleted
(Sorry no Labview "brag list" so far)
