Sure. Go into LabVIEW's "Help" folder, and then into the "Intlinks"
folder. The "_browser.llb" has links to the internet. But the
important thing is that in one of the VI's ("Open URL in Browser") has a
little routine that grabs the default browser from the registry. You
can use these to grab any key from the registry. Pretty cool. Just
fool around with the inputs and you'll see how it works.

and download "Windows 95/NT Registry VIs", they are pretty easy to use.

If you have LabVIEW 6i, there is a new set of VIs for this exact purpose. Look in your functions palette..
