Regarding LabView and GPIB

I'm trying to send data to an electronic processor from a PC.I'm entirely new to LabView programming and concepts.All I want to do is this, I have a value of Spatial frequency and there is an electronic processor which receives this value of spatial frequency(supplied by me from a PC).The PC and the electronic processor are interfaced using a GPIB.All details(like the device number of the board) etc are known.Where am I to start?I'm new to LabView....

www.ni.com/idnet is a great start. This site discusses instrument drivers in detail. It sounds like it is necessary to have an instrument driver for the GPIB connection. It may also be necessary to define and implement a command set for the "electric processor" to communicate over the GPIB. NI-Device is a good product for such a goal.
