We are going to design one system to measure the movement and posture of a body using 3-axis accelerometer.
For this, we will use MMA7260Q, an acceleration sensor that is composed of a single chip and the same can detect 3-axis acceleration information, and measured acceleration information of axis X,Y and Z according to the subject's posture and activity.
Measured acceleration signal will be transmitted through wireless n/w.
The acceleration sensor operates at a low voltage and low power. As its current consumption is 3 microamps under sleep mode operation.
Design specifications of the sensor board:
Sensitivity: 1.5g/2g/4g/6g(800 mV,1.5g)
Current Consumption: 500 microamps(Active mode)
Operation voltage: 2.2 - 3.6 V
An analog signal from the acceleration sensor is to be converted into digital signal through data sampling at a rate of 100 samples/second at each channel of an A/D converter which is embedded inside microcontroller and has 10-bit resolution. We are planning to monitor and record the signals using LabVIEW 2011. For that, need some DAQ interface to process the above. Could u plz mail me the specifications and cost of the specified products?
Based on the above,we will ask permission to purchase the above components. Also send me the specifications of NI USB 6008/6009 interface.
