Real local variables

When creates a local variable in e.g. C it's real local and only used
locally. But not in LabView 🙂
Is there anybody out there who knows how I can do it in Labview?
I made, what I tough was, a local variable in LabView and it infected
all instances of the VI and acts more like a static variable in e.g. C.

Hi anonym,

the 'Local variable' is local to the vi, so it can only be accessed inside the vi.
If you need an reentrent vi (running multiple copies simultaneously), you have to set this in the 'vi properties' -> 'execution'.
