Read the path of a json file added to a myRio server

I am communicating between a myRio (client) and a host computer (server). The code is working perfectly, but I wanted the port number and the ip address of the server in the client.vi be changed from a JSON file added to the target device instead of the vi itself. I thought the client VI should be in the same folder as the son file. Based on that, I did an implementation(images added below) but it's not working. Any help?
