Read hardware clock

For time stamping my data I would like to read the hardware clock on my
CPU board instead of relaying on the Windows system time whose accuracy
may be influenced by the workload of the CPU. From the old DOS times I
remember that this was made possible by issuing interrupt calls from
within a Basic program. How can I do that with LabVIEW? I guess that the
standard time functions which are provided with LV read only the Windows
system time. I am using WinNT 4.0 with LabVIEW 6.0.2. Thanks for any advice,
