Could you upload the VI of this sketch? There are some tools here that I am not familiar with, so I am unable to understand the full funtioanlity of the algorithm.

It's called a snippet. Save the image to your computer, then drag it onto a block diagram.

That's odd. I selected 8.6 from the code capture tool.

Oh, well. Here's the vi itself in 8.6.
