We use Clearcase and it isn't the most well behaved package. It excels in a
unix environment with test based languages but in the windows world it's
lacking in useability. We are using because it is a company standard. I
polled a Labview list a while back and most of the responses returned were
for MS Visual Source Safe. Clearcase doesn't allow for the use of a
graphical differencing tool, I don't know if source safe would handle binary
files any better though, The second runner up was for a product called
Perforce. Looks like an interesting prospect but I haven't been able to try
it either.
