RS232...axe position

Hi,

I'm new to LabView.

My Project: I have to control the movement of 2 axes with the parker motion controller (6K2). I write a program (using Parker Motion Planer language for 6K2) on Labview. I use RS232 for communication (from my computer to 6K2) and Labview 6.1. The two axis move as I want!!!!! Good!!!!!!
Question: I want to take measurements (with hot wire) at different position. How I can take measurement at given positions of the axis? In other way, How I know the position of my hot wire when it take measurment?
