Query on Connecting Instruments via Ethernet

Hi everyone,

I was trying to establish a connection with Multilane Bert via Ethernet, but couldn't do it. I tried to follow the protocol suggested on the Ni website but wasn't successful. I have attached the link below of the path I was trying to go with. I was able to ping the device using command prompt but when try to add the device in MAX it could not be auto detected. I even tried manual entry of the of LAN instrument that didn't work too. It would be great if anyone could help or give suggestions on how could i establish the connection.

You did not say what BERT you have so we can't RTFM for you, but I sounds like the BERT is not setup for remote control.
