Quadrature digital downconverter on PXIe 7965R

Hey,

I am planning to implement a quadrature digital downconverter on the FlexRIO PXIe 7965R (Virtex-5 FPGA) module. I was wondering if there was an IP from LabVIEW to implement a QDDC. I have an ADC (NI 5761) that sits on top of the FPGA module.

The purpose of the QDDC is to implement a scope on the instrument. My operating frequencies for the DUT are going to be less than or equal to 10 MHz. I was also wondering if there is something other than a QDDC that might be better suited to this range of frequencies.

Unfortunately, I was unable to find any IP in LabVIEW for implementing a QDDC on FPGA.  You can check this web-site for other possible IP's that may be helpful to you.  www.ni.com/ipnet

Hi Tanuj,

I've got an update for you concerning this issue. Since the FlexRIO FPGA modules use Virtex-5 FPGAs, you should be able to use the Xilinx CORE Generator to create the IP needed to meet your needs.
