The library is definitely a awesome bit of kit that was constantly causing issues when it met with reality especially in multi-developer workflows that the binary nature of LabVIEW isn't suited for. I love playing around with editor extensions, I hope they become released products in the future so the community can really drive some awesome stuff in LabVIEW.

Yeah, all of that feels super on-point.

And YES!  Even if LabVIEW doesn't become fully open-sourced at some point, just having the ability to add plugins and extensions to things like quickdrop and project provider framework provides a great way to let the community keep pushing the language forward 🙂
