To add another interesting point, the Enter key may or may not behave differently when:

• Typing in a control (VI not running) in dev mode
• Typing in a control (VI running) in dev mode
• In a compiled executable

There is an INI setting for both your development environment and compiled executables that you can use to customize this behavior.
