Programmatically differentiate runtime from development in MacOSX

Anybody know a way for a VI to know if it is running in the development environment or the runtime environment?

It has been suggested to obtain the VI path, strip it back one, then use the File/Directory Info Vi to see if it is a directory or a file - the executable, but in MacOSX the "executable" is a directory!

I have looked at the VI properties, and I really cant't find anything that works.

Try the property Application>>Kind. When you create a property node, it defaults to the current application, so just select the property.
