This is not going to help you much, but there are lots of bugs with graphs/charts in tabs that I have encountered or read about.
What you are describing might belong to the same category of issues.
Check these discussions for instance:
Why does Waveform Chart Initalized by Property nodes behave erratically
Horizontal scrollbar of waveform chart in tab page resets to end

Hi X,
your message helped me a lot! I read this thread:
Why does Waveform Chart Initalized by Property nodes behave erratically
and I implemented the workaround suggested by Molly K. :
"A workaround for this is to set the Key Focus property for the Waveform Chart to true in your initialization of the graph. The graph will update correctly even when initialized from Page 2 with this set. This will make Page 1 show when you toggle the Run button, but you could add code to change the focus back to something on Page 2 if you choose."
and.. it worked perfectly! 🙂
So, this is another bug that could be listed among the two you mentioned.
It would be nice if/they could be fixed one day.
Thank you so much! And thank you to all people who participated to this thread. You were very helpful.

I know, but NI is too busy developing some fancy actor framework, plugins, and all kinds of gadgets to work on fixing 10-20 year old bugs. Where's the fun in that?

My biggest pet peeve with LabVIEW right now are the waveform charts / XY plots. They are buggy, slow, and resource intensive. I have had to implement so many workarounds over the years. They definitely need an update.

Not that I am trying to be overly pessimistic, but t is very unlikely they will do much with the old graph objects, as they have released newer ones (which have a load of issues of their own).

Hi X,
I understand your pesssimism, however I think that all bugs related to a currently supported release of LabView should be fixed, regardless they refer to something developed years ago or more recently.
It would be nice if someone from NI could comment on this.
