Problems with PDA Frontpanel. Fontsize.

We are using:
- Windows XP, all service packs
- PDA HP2210, PPC2003
- LabView 7.0 including PDA-Module updated to 7.01

Problem:
After creating a (beautiful) frontpanel on laptop screen, we download the application to the PDA:
The applications are running, but the frontpanel looks different: Fontsizes differ, positions of buttons vary etc.

We tried different frontpanel solution factors (1...4), but didn't hit the problem.

Is there a trick?
Are there only a few fonts available?
How to position the buttons?

Greetings,
D.

There will be some differences between the front panel designed on the laptop and what is displayed on the PDA depending on the types of controls and fonts you use. The PDA will not support all fonts and some controls will have a different look to them. Consult chapter 5 of the LabVIEW PDA manual for detailed information about the sizing of the controls and supported and unsupported features.

If you use the PDA specific front panel palette in the design environment, you should have a good sense about the look and feel of the front panel on the PDA. If you have specific questions about button placement please include an example VI with your post.
