Hi everyone,
I'm trying to scan a floating string that I received from a VISA resource which has de value like (-1.32569889) so I would like to transform it to a double to respresent it on a graph chart. The samples (data) are coming at 100HZ (100 samples per second) so it seems like the first value it goes well, but after first it goues badly. I have put indicators everywhere so I can assure if the value is the same on the second loop, the scan of the string function gives an error all the times after that. I also, have prove it with Scan Value functions and String to Fract Hex functio too. However, the results are the same, errors continuosly.
Is this a normal error or situation?
I'm becoming mad findinf the solution, because it non-sense that only works with first data!
Thanks for your feedbacks!

Post your vi with some sample data!
Its probably one of those things were the forum members can say "OH, you thought the function was doing That". a bit of code i'll fix you right up![]()
Hint: "scan a floating string" is what you don't want a trout to do when fly fishing![]()
