Problem with delay in loop

Am a working a program to take sound from the sound card and play it back after some delay (like used at radio stations). I am trying to modify the simulataneous io example that comes with labview for this. i inserted a delay express vi between the si read and so write. seams to run okay for some time then i get this error. 4823 - task must be running. how do i overcome this

I think that the best way it's if you attach your code and your Labview version. Then we can see what's the problem or suggest another way to do that.

Are you performing continuous Input/ Output and then, inducing delay between each of these operations??
