Problem with adding the NI9862 to the project for the cRIO-9047

HI,

I'm trying to add the NI9862 (High-Speed CAN Module) to the cRIO-9047, but I can't do it. The list of C series modules doesn't have the NI9862, at the same time I can add the NI9862 to the cRIO-9082, for example. Do the cRIO-9047 not work with the NI9868?

If I connect to the cRIO-9047 with pre-installed the NI9862 , then following image appears:

Is the NI9862 not supported in Labview 2019?

MAX doesn't find the problems.

I read this: https://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/Connecting-to-NI-9862/m-p/3314918 and did the MAX Database Reset, but that didn't change anything.

Thank you for your advice and help!

Thanks for your reply!

I didn't read this document before, but I have already installed NI-XNET 19.0 and NI-RIO 19.0 on the cRIO, also I have installed NI-XNET 19.0 and NI Compact RIO device driver on my PC.

This page details support for different hardware modules: https://www.ni.com/en-gb/support/documentation/compatibility/09/software-support-for-compactrio--com...

The 9862 lists many versions of allowed LabVIEW (2010 to current), although it does note not all combinations are compatible (LabVIEW, LabVIEW FPGA, LabVIEW RT, XNET, RIO, etc)

There are some other pointers here: https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA00Z0000019QWZSA2&l=en-GB but I think you've already addressed most of those points (but worth checking again).

I'd also check the order you installed various components in, especially since you're using a device capable of DAQmx access to modules - it might be that whilst you have appropriate drivers/modules installed, you didn't get the "LabVIEW Support" option also installed (which adds support in LabVIEW). An example package (not necessarily the one you need, but will give an idea about naming) that can be found in NIPM (under Packages) is "NI-DAQmx Support for LabVIEW 2019 (32-bit)". Try searching for "Support for LabVIEW".
