LabVIEW 8.2.1 embedded control is special version of Labview-- stated on National instruments website. The installation wizard provides various optional tools to be installed on will with LabVIEW,the problem is it has been compulsory to install Ni DAXm software ( Device Automation Explorer) for LabVIEW 8.2.1 to work in my windows 7 pc(LabVIEW crashes if i remove the software) ,while it doesn't on another windows xp machine..?? Why so..is it really OS biased or just I'm missing something???
