Problem using EPICS Server API.prj in labVIEW 2010

I am using LabVIEW 2010 + LabVIEW Real time in a Windows HOST plus a PXI system. When I try to load the project EPICS Server API.prj LabVIEW looks for a defined type of DSC module. It is strictly necessary to install the DSC module to use the EPICS example. Where I can find this data type?

Ok. I am installed LABVIEW DSC and the example is working. But now I have two  problems.

1º) Why the variables published by this example appears as "read only" in NI DISTRIBUTED MANAGER?

2º) What is the way to access the PV fields using a VI?
