Problem right mouse click: no menu appears but "original size"

Hello, I have a problem.

I use LabVIEW 7.1 and somehow the right mouse click does not work any more.

If I right click anywhere on the frontpanel, then the usual menu (copy, paste, properties, ...) does appear. It does only show a small menu with "original size".

I have no idea why.

How can I fix that? Is there some setting which I maybe have chaged accidentally?

Johannes

I found it out myself:

It is because of the background. I set a huge box as background and if I rightclick on it, it shows me the original size menu.

Hi Johannes,

Can you provide a little more information please? When I right-click in LabVIEW7.1 on the front panel, my usual result is to see the functions palette. If I right-click on a control, I get "Visible Items, Find Terminal, Change to Indicator..."etc. I cannot get either "Copy, paste, properties" nor "original size" to appear. Are you in development mode or a running vi? Can you attach your vi for us to try duplicating this behaviour?

Some things to try anyway:

  • Check the setting  "Allow run-time shortcut menus" in the Customize... options of the VI Properties > Window Appearance.
  • Close and re-load your vi.
  • Re-start LabVIEW and re-load your vi.

Nevermind. Glad you worked this out 🙂
