I'm using AT-GPIB/TNT (PnP), so I don't think it's TOO old. The
computer we're now using for measurements is kind of old (P120), and we
recently got a new Dell PIII 450. But this new computer
introduced huge, oscillating noise, which is even more nagging, so we
had to switch back to our old computer. This is a different story but
understandable because it's whole new hardware and system, but I just
don't understand how upgrading LabVIEW on a computer can introduce
additional noise when everything else is left untouched.
Well, after all, it's a computer... Whenever a mystery gives rise to
problems, we have to play around till another mystery solves them all
suddenly...
Thank you for your suggestion,
Taro
