Pressure sensor returns the wrong voltage

Hello

I have a pressure sensor that goes from -1 to 6 bar. And returns 0 to 10 V. So 10 V = 6 bar and 0 = -1.

Problem, at atmospheric pressure it returns 5 Volt. So this is wrong.

I just openned the DAQ assistant (input => voltage) and returns the value "data" the DAQ assistant delivers. I set Continuous Values because I want to have the continous values. I set 100 Hz because I don't need so much values every second (and also 1000 Hz bug).

Has somebody an idea what could go wrong. Can it be the software or in the Labview side ?

does calibration works ?

thanks

Can you repeat your question with a bit more detail?

  • What is the make and model of the pressure sensor?
  • What is your DAQ hardware?
  • How is everything hooked up and configured?
  • How about grounding?
  • If the sensor is bridge based, what is the excitation voltage?
  • Is the voltage correct if you use a simple volt meter?
  • How is the voltage when using test panels in DAQmx?
  • Is the voltage using the DAQ assistant correct or wrong?
  • Can you show us your LabVIEW code?
