Hello,
Our application's design calls for disabling the user's ability to export data from a Waveform Graph via Right Click -> Export. Is this possible? If it is possible, then is it also possible to determine whether or not exporting is disabled by reading in settings from a file?

Sorry - the second quesiton didn't come out right. Is it possible to programmatically enable/disable the export via reading in settings from a file?

You can customize the control's right-click menu by right-clicking on the control and selecting Advanced -> Run-Time Shortcut Menu -> Edit.
As for doing this programmatically you need to get a menu reference. As far as I know the only way to do this is via an event structure. You'd need to register the events first so that they are available to the event structure. There is an example that ships with LabVIEW on how to register events for a control. You could then, for example, register and handle the "shortcut menu activation" event for the control and then modify the menu as needed using the menu functions in LabVIEW. The examples show you how to use the menu functions in general.

It does not seem to work I am trying to disable the Export To File/Export for Excel from the menu of the Waveform Chart. I disable the Run-Time Shortcut Menus form the Advanced menu; and it disables the right-click menu during run-time. However the chart has the plot legend, so when I right click on it I can still see the menu with the Export fo File/Export to Excel option.
How do I disable it from the chart legend?
Thanks!
