Polar reformating

Does anyone have any code for converting polar data to a rectangular
coordinate system. Any code would be greatly appreciated.

Do you need something than what's on the Numeric>Complex palette? There's Polar to Complex and Complex to Re/Im functions.

Hi,
this is very easy, if you know trigonometry.
But the most easiest way is to use functions from
"Numeric->Complex" palette.
Use first "Polar to complex" to convert polar coordinates to complex number, and then "Complex to Re/Im" to convert complex number to "X-Y" coordinates.

The example is attached.
Angle Theta in example must be in radians.

Good luck.

Oleg Chutko.

Yes, what i am looking for is a vi that will take data from a polar
coordinate system and re-sample it in a rectangular coordinate system. This
is not a type conversion it is a spatial resampling of data. Thanks for
your help.
