Panel as Bitmap?

Is there anyway to get a screenshot of a front panel or diagram in .bmp format?
I'm giving a presentation and would like to place bitmaps into PowerPoint
showing what the program looks like.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Assuming Window operating system, pressing the "Print Screen" button on your
keyboard, will take a bitmap of the current screen into the clipboard. Then
simply open Windows Paint (or another bitmap editor), and paste. Voila 😉

Thanks! One other question...

Is there any way of recording movement on the panel (changing colors of LED's)
into a .gif or .avi file? Thanks again for your help.

dave,

go to download.com and do search for 'screen capture', there are a lot of
shareware programs that will capture screen contents, even in motion, and
save them as mpeg, avi, etc.

Use "Print Documentation" features under File menu.

Hi,

for the bmp-saving you can also use the VI attribute node (print documenation).
For capturing a "living" panel, you can perhaps try "ScreenCap", should be
freeware from Lotus.
