PXI-8106 RT

Hello !

I am using PXI-8106 RT with PXI-4461 in chassis PXI-1024,

when I used DAQ assistant , an error show up with the following message 

The remote target is missing the required components.

what does it mean ? 

do I need to set PXI_trigX in the chassis?

any suggestions,

Hello bachir_elec,

I would suggest you to do a repair in your DAQmx drivers. You can do that by going in Control Panel-->Programs and Features --> Software National Instruments and repair NI-DAQmx Drivers. An even better idea would be to update your DAQmx drivers into the latest version supported for your system software.

You can see the compatibility between LabVIEW versions and DAQmx drivers version in the following link.

Can you try a repair or a new DAQmx driver installation and see if the problem persists?

I re-install it but without seccuss.

When I tried VISA test panal in MAX I got the following error code

VI_ERROR_NPERMISSION (permission denied)

even though under NI-VISA tools -> security, I have '*' for all permission !!!!.

so what could be the problem ?

the versions are the same in remote and the host as you can see in image.

The problem was the compatibility between OS on the host(windows 7) and labview version 8.6.
