Hi All,
I would like to design feedback feed-forward control for chemical process, its 2 inputs 1 output, I want to control the pump speed of the second input (Polymer for optimization) and considering the first input (sludge) as a disturbance as its vary in concentration (small variation).
so my set point is the concentration of sludge comes out (30000 mg/l) and the main input that change the process is the polymer feeding in, so the question here what i need to control this process and do i need flow transmitter or only density / concentration sensor the measure the output is enough.
I need to adjust polymer by controlling the speed of the pump according to the concentration output and considering the little change of the first input. when process reaches the set-point i need to turn down the speed of the pump to reduce the volume of polymer and vice versa
hardware i have:
two pumps (3 phase), VFD, Desinty sensor that measure the output to meet my set-point, MyDAQ
