PID - control pressure

Hi All,

Does anyone  come across with PID controller that control pressure drop by controlling two signals.

Basically, controlling one  process value  (delta P) by controlling pump swash plate position and relief valve spool position.

Typically the way I have seen this done was by breaking up the two control outputs into a "coarse" control and a "fine" control. The coarse adjustment sets the output to approximately what it needs to be and then the fine control tweaks the output to exactly what is needed.
